Beneath century-old maple, chestnut and walnut trees, park-goers are treated to a wide variety of activities in the park — with tennis courts and lots of fun for the kids.

Check out this sunset view from Zuanich Park in Squalicum Harbor! Just moments from the San Juan Islands, this port on Bellingham Bay is home to more than 1,800 commercial and pleasure boats. With views like these, it’s easy to see why this part of the Columbia neighborhood is a favorite destination for boaters and land-lovers alike.

Seasoned residents of the Pacific Northwest have been bracing for the tell-tale cooler weather and rain that signals the arrival of fall, but so far, summer seems to be sticking around for a while. No complaints here!

This boat headed out from Bellingham’s Squalicum Harbor at sunset a few days ago. While many people stood on shore at Zuanich Point Park enjoying the vibrant sunset, this boat set out for an unobstructed view.

Residents of the Eldridge Historical District (in the Columbia Neighborhood) have easy access to both the park and these stunning views–no boat required. Check out our Columbia photo galleries to see more!
